Privacy policy

Last updated 5 November 2026. This policy explains how we handle your data. It is not legal advice.

Who we are

Oxfordshire Quotes is run by Conor Davies, trading as Oxfordshire Quotes. We are the data controller for the personal data you give us through this website. Contact: hello@oxfordshirequotes.co.uk.

The best way to reach us about anything in this policy is by email at hello@oxfordshirequotes.co.uk. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and to any formal data request within one month.

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, nearest town and the details of the job you describe. When tradespeople register interest, we collect their business name, name, trades, areas covered, phone and email. Like most websites, our hosting provider may also record basic technical data, such as IP address and browser type, in server logs to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it and our lawful basis

Who we share it with

We share your request with the tradespeople we match you with. They are independent businesses and become responsible for your details once they receive them. Fencing enquiries may also be handled directly by Conor's own fencing business, CD Services – Fencing & Landscaping. We use service providers to run the site, such as our website host and form handler (Netlify), and our email provider (IONOS), who process data on our behalf. Some of these may store data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months so we can deal with queries and disputes, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it or restrict it, and withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@oxfordshirequotes.co.uk. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything shared before you withdrew it. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website does not use marketing or analytics cookies, and we don't use tracking tools such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
